With a little research I have found the best solar panel manufacturers in the world that are involved in the manufacturing of green technologies.

According to a research that was undertaken by the research group called ENF, a study was undertaken of companies in over 45 countries that was involved in the direct manufacturer of solar technologies. A rating was done for companies that manufactured photovoltaic components and many other components that support the panels.

The results were a mixed bag of companies that were located in many different countries. The top ranking companies that received rewards are as follows”

Photovoltaic Panels

Sun Power (USA)

Schott Solar (Germany)

Solar World (Germany)

Winner of the Best Product Quality:

Sanyo (Japan)

Best value verses money spent:

Suntech (China)

Solar inverters:

Kaco (Germany)

Outback (USA)

Mastervolt (USA)

Best Inverter Quality:

OutBack (USA)

Best value for inverters:

Kaco (Germany)

Solar Mounting Systems:

Direct Power and Water (USA)

UbiRac (USA)

SchAco (Germany)

Solar Trackers:

Zomeworks (USA)

Solar Photovoltaic Systems:

Sharp (Japan)

The facts were that 49% of the companies considered the cell brand in a panel was very important, the most commonly brands that were brought up and considered the highest of quality were Sharp, Q-Cells, and BP Solar. solarenerghome

Another very important piece of info was the average price that installers paid for their panels turned out to be an average of $4.16 per Watt, with prices drastically falling as the technology is becoming in more demand.

The manufacturing of solar panels for both residential and commercial use is rapidly becoming a huge industry. There are a number of major solar panel manufacturers in the U.S. and a rapidly growing number in Europe. In recent years China has also become a major provider of solar panels both because they have high demand internally and because their low labor costs have helped to bring manufacturing costs down.

A little known fact is that It is possible to fit 1,858,560 solar modules in a square mile. An area of solar panels 102 miles to a side would be sufficient to generate 4,000,000,000,000 kWh of electricity or enough to power the entire US.

The Internet is a great resource in identifying a solar contractor with one of the most useful sites is www.findsolar.com. FindSolar.com is a joint partnership between the American Solar Energy Society, Solar Electric Power Association, Energy Matters LLC, and the U.S. Department of Energy. It includes a database by state and county of solar contractors. The site includes customer reviews and information on the contractor certifications, including manufacturer certifications, which can be particularly valuable in finding the best deals in solar technology installations, and solar panel manufacturers.. The listings are still thin for some areas of the country (when I looked up Westchester county New York the closest contractor I found was in New Jersey) but I would make this the first place to start when trying to identify a solar contractor.

Do your research and don’t jump into a solar solution, find out all of the details and you will undoubtedly find a deal that will match your situation perfectly.
