With a little research I have found the best solar panel manufacturers in the world that are involved in the manufacturing of green technologies.

According to a research that was undertaken by the research group called ENF, a study was undertaken of companies in over 45 countries that was involved in the direct manufacturer of solar technologies. A rating was done for companies that manufactured photovoltaic components and many other components that support the panels.

The listings are still thin for some areas of the country (when I looked up Westchester county New York the closest contractor I found was in New Jersey) but I would make this the first place to start when trying to identify a solar contractor.
